Service Description
The Winter Solstice happens at the time of the year when the days are at their shortest and the nights are at their longest. The Winter Solstice is a time of reflection and renewal. This is a gathering space in the rooms of the yacht club, to take some time to reflect, relax with guided meditations, journal reflection, and some yule time traditions to mark the winter solstice and welcoming in the light. If the weather is dry we will take a short walk in nature, so please ensure you are wearing appropriate footwear and have a coat. Then relax in the heat of the sauna. 8am Ceremony 9am Sauna Whatever your reason, book your contrast therapy now and reserve your space, and indulge in some deep relaxation. This session is open to all members of the public. Cold options include: The sea and cold shower. Allowing you to go in and out of the hot sauna and cool down in a way that feels best for you, to optimise your contrast therapy experience. Please note that when you make the booking there is a drop down option where you can choose pay now for a 1 off payment or choose a package should you want to purchase multiple sessions. Cancellation Policy
**Due to the additional costs of running events like these, such as room hire, facilitators etc we can only offer a 50% refund if cancelling with more than 72 hours notice of the event. If less than 72 hours we will not be able to provide any refund. If the event was cancelled for any reason by us then you will be offered a full refund or the opportunity to rescheduled to another future events** Each session is tailor designed to the theme and event. Using intuition as a guide some things may vary for a session and adaptations maybe made to accommodate all who attend these events based on information provided. We do our best to keep everything as it is advertised but allergies and other things may require us to change something, for example not use oils. Payment Terms: Payment needs to be made on booking. By making the payment you agree to ensuring that anyone you maybe booking for to use the sauna will complete the waiver form. That you understand our cancellation policy. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy We honour your time, our team’s energy, and the rhythm of the sanctuary. If plans shift, here’s how we care for the process: Sauna Bookings - Cancellations made 48 hours or more in advance are eligible for: – A full refund, minus a 5% handling fee, or – A rescheduled session at no extra cost - Cancellations made less than 48 hours before your booking are non-refundable, as we may not be able to rebook your slot Wellness Events - Cancellations made more than 72 hours in advance receive a 50% refund - Cancellations made within 72 hours are non-refundable, as we hire in facilitators and reserve limited spaces in advance Weather & Closures We remain open in all weather — rain, snow, or wind — as long as conditions are safe. If we ever need to close for any reason, whether due to weather or staff illness, you’ll be offered a full refund (minus a 5% handling fee) or the option to reschedule.
